The renowned physician will lead Chile’s leading health fair, contributing his vast experience in healthcare management and public policy.

Dr. Enrique Paris Mancilla, renowned pediatrician, former Minister of Health, and leader in public health policy, is the honorary president of ExpoSalud 2025, the country’s leading health fair. His appointment reinforces the commitment of the 14th exhibition and conference of medical technology companies, clinical and hospital equipment, and solutions for the health sector to promote innovation, debate, and comprehensive solutions in this field in Chile.
With an outstanding career, Dr. Paris is a surgeon from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, a specialist in Pediatric Intensive Care from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), and in Toxicology from Georgetown University (USA).
He also has training in Postoperative Cardiac Intensive Care from the University of Michigan. Founder and director of the Toxicology and Drug Information Center (CITUC) at the PUC between 1992 and 2017, he was also head of the ICU at the Sótero del Río Hospital and president of the Chilean Medical Association for two consecutive terms (2011-2017).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Paris took office as Chile’s Minister of Health (2020-2022), leading the country’s health strategy at one of its most critical moments. He subsequently chaired the Institute of Public Health Policy (IPSUSS) at the University of San Sebastián, contributing to the debate and development of public policy. Since March 2025, he has served as medical director of Clínica Meds, a private healthcare network with a presence in three regions of Chile.
