ExpoSalud 2026 has finalized the program for its 15th edition. The agenda for this new edition will focus on the transformations currently taking place in the sector and will provide three days of opportunities for dialogue among those who are shaping the future of healthcare.
The program includes an International Congress, two certified workshops, seven Health Management Sessions, as well as opportunities for international exchange.
International Congress and Workshops
One of the main events on the program will be the International Congress, co-organized with Brazil’s Einstein Hospital Israelita, which will take place on the mornings of Tuesday, November 10, and Wednesday, November 11, in the Doña Gloria Room. The first session will be dedicated to “Einstein Oncology: An Integrated Ecosystem That Builds Excellence,” while the second will address “From the Fragmented Patient to the Coordinated System: The Future of Integrated Healthcare.”
On Tuesday, the Congress will begin at 7:45 a.m. with registration, and the program will run until 1:15 p.m. The agenda includes, among other topics, collaboration between centers and specialists, the use of data to improve healthcare efficiency, patient engagement, diagnostic safety, and technology. The day will conclude with the panel discussion “Redesigning Systems: The Path Toward Effective and Equitable Coverage.”
On Wednesday, registration will begin at 8:00 a.m., and activities will run until 1:00 p.m. The program will address the National Institute of Neurosurgery’s experience in managing non-GES surgical waiting lists, the future of integrated care, technology and humanization, interoperability, artificial intelligence, and payment models. The day will conclude with the panel discussion “Waiting Lists in Chile: What Can Make a Difference?”
Certified workshops will take place on both afternoons, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday’s workshop will focus on oncology, and Wednesday’s on integrated health care; both will be led by specialists from Einstein Hospital Israelita.
Hospital Concessions: Infrastructure and Management to Expand the Network’s Capacity
Among the main events of the Health Management Conference will be the 2nd Hospital Concessions Meeting, to be held on Tuesday, November 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The meeting, part of the Health Management Conference, will examine the hospital concessions model and its relationship to infrastructure development for the healthcare system. The event will address the challenges associated with the participation of various stakeholders in the development and management of healthcare facilities, in a context where network capacity and infrastructure availability are central to discussions about the sector’s future.
The event is co-organized by COPSA and the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC). Pre-registration is required, and space is limited, so those wishing to participate must register specifically for the event.
Health Management Conference Takes Center Stage at the Expo
The Health Management Conference will feature its own program throughout the three days of ExpoSalud.
On Tuesday, the 10th, following the opening ceremony, the program will begin at 12:00 p.m. with “Primary Health Care and Personalized Prevention: What Can a CESFAM Do with Population Genomics?” The day will conclude with the Hospital Concessions Meeting.
On Wednesday, the 11th, activities will begin at 10:00 a.m. with “Ten Years of Health Care Compensation: The Chilean Case.” At 12:00 p.m., the session “Chile’s Health Challenges by 2030” will take place, while at 3:00 p.m., the topic “Launching Hospitals and Clinics: The Most Challenging Stage” will be addressed.
On Thursday, the 12th, the conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. with “Challenges in Access to Medicines: A Perspective from Chile’s Healthcare Ecosystem.” At 11:30 a.m., the program will continue with “AI and Cybersecurity in Healthcare: How to Build a Digital, Secure, Smart, and Reliable Healthcare Ecosystem?”
A Forum for International Exchange
Thursday’s schedule will also include a session dedicated to the Chile-U.S. Bilateral Health Meeting, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Following that, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the meeting’s networking session will take place, providing an opportunity for participating representatives to exchange ideas.
“ExpoSalud aims to be a meeting place for the various sectors that make up the healthcare ecosystem. That is why the program covers everything from management and infrastructure to innovation, technology, patient care, and the challenges facing the healthcare system. This cross-cutting approach allows us to create a space where different stakeholders, experiences, and perspectives come together to discuss how to build the healthcare system of the future,” said Michele Pefour, the fair’s manager.
