Expo Salud, organised by FISA and GL events, will be held from 1 to 3 December this year at Espacio Riesco. It is a space that functions as a showcase to highlight priority projects and promote public-private collaboration in health. It also provides a platform for ‘making public policies visible, communicating progress, generating strategic alliances, incorporating innovation, and learning from experiences that can improve hospital management and network care’, according to Andrea Buzzeti, FISA’s commercial manager for Science and Health.

‘Expo Salud seeks to be a platform for public and private areas to meet in order to project synergies that collaborate in the development of sustainable solutions over time for waiting lists and hospital management’, said Buzzeti: “One example is the Albert Einstein Hospital, a prominent guest of the event, a Latin American leader in national and international public-private partnerships”.

The Undersecretariat for Health Care Networks, which will also be part of Expo Salud, states that this type of event ‘makes it possible to publicise good practices and the replicable, positive and imitable elements that we are currently developing as a health network’. The benefits of the incorporation of a state body in the event are expressed in that the exhibition ‘provides a space to socialise the innovation and development that the public health network has carried out’.

Regarding the participation of the public body in Expo Salud, they maintain that ‘there is a lot of interest in being able to show elements of work that we have had in primary health care, such as the Territorial Health Information System (SITS) and some practices that have been developed in digital health (Digital Hospital); and some aspects of the reform’.
